Egypt / Lebanon Montage by Khalid Mohtaseb

Egypt / Lebanon Montage from Khalid Mohtaseb on Vimeo.

This is a montage of footage a few friends and I shot for a Documentary during the summer/fall of 2009.

The documentary was shot entirely on the canon 5D MKll in and around Cairo and Beirut. Big ups to Magic Lanterns Firmware update, as well as the Kessler Pocket Dolly for being a huge help in making this happen.

Music: Nikos - Secret Love

Editing/ Color Grading- Khalid Mohtaseb

Chiemgau impressions by Mario Feil

Chiemgau impressions from Mario Feil on Vimeo.

while doing my current backups, I found lots of footage from last year I didn't use yet. Planned to use it as stock footage for filling gaps in some videos.

filmed between June and October.
actually, I finished it 4 months ago but never put it on vimeo. totally forgot it.

slides (real time and timelapse) were done with the Kesslercrane Cineslider (Oracle Controller, Electra drive)

Music by Nouvelle Vague - Killing Moon
enjoy

thx to
Andi G. (co-shooter)
Franzi (my girlfriend who waited a dozen times patiently until the timelapse was done)

UPDATE:
for all the tech geeks: I think I used all of my gear, no matter which lens or camera. The Moon at the end was captured with the Sony EX1 for example.
most shots were filmed with Canon 7D, 5D, 1D and different lenses

UPDATE:
just to clarify: "Chiemgau" is the region I live. It's between Munich and Salzburg in the very south of Bavaria. the shots were done in and around the "Chiemgau". I once wanted to create a 100% Chiemgau-Vid but didn't have the time to complete it. Maybe that is why I didn't upload it earlier...

in the end, it's still my home region :)

Tiere im Zoo hinter der Glasscheibe fotografieren from Pavel Kaplun on Vimeo.

First real outdoor Jib Arm Test on our KesslerCrane Gear by T-Recs (Timelapse Recordings)

First real outdoor Jib Arm Test on our KesslerCrane Gear from T-Recs (Timelapse Recordings) on Vimeo.

this is a small testrun we´ve made with our new little self made jib arm to use it for some crane shots in future productions.

we´ve tested how smooth the moves are in real outdoor situations in use with the kesslercrane cineslider, revolution head and the oracle controller for real time motion control shots. the first test with the jib arm runs out great. we tried to build the jib arm as lightweight as we could to being able to use the jib arm with the revolution head. we´re limited in some movements but for some things it´s great. at this time we´re also limited to use this jib arm for timelapse. there is a little bit more "thinking work" on this. but we´re working on to make it work in the future.

Location: Dresden / Germany
a little BTS clip twitvid.com/TX99O

tools we have used:

Canon EOS 7D
Canon EF-S 15-85mm
Tokina 10-17mm Fisheye
Nikon Coolpix P7000 (first bts timelapse sequence)
KesslerCrane Cineslider, Revolution Head, Oracle Controller
self constructed Jib Arm

Discover Castles in Saxony (Germany) by LensViewsDE

Discover Castles in Saxony (Germany) from LensViewsDE on Vimeo.

This is a short demo video about the castles in Saxony. All sequences were taken with a Canon 7D, and a homemade Cineslider.
Total of 3000 photos were taken and individually touched up on the PC.
For post production I used Lightroom 3 with a slide show export for full HD clips and video editing software, Magix Video Deluxe 17.

The video is really very simple, the time of max. 60s is very short
